Some thoughts

[edit]

Overall not a bad article at all. A very good start. There are couple areas that I would hone in on.

  1. Look for some reliable sources outside of the wineries own web pages. This will also help with the POV side as well because you are more likely to get some more objective third party views from an outside third party source.
  2. Establish in the lead what distinctly makes this winery notable. (Largest producer in Chile? First winery to do some particular thing, etc)

As for other thoughts, I really like the vineyard section. They provide excellent descriptions-especially since the winery's holding transverse several Chilean appellations. I also think you did an excellent job in going into the wine making technique. Again, overall I think this is a very good start for the article. AgneCheese/Wine 04:13, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Primary source

[edit]

Re: "the official site is the most reliable source for this kind of article. Please be more specific about any facts that need further verification"

The official site is a primary source. This article needs sources or references that appear in credible, third-party publications. Alone, primary sources and sources affiliated with the subject of the article are not sufficient for an accurate encyclopedia article. Please include more appropriate citations from reliable sources. --Geniac 15:00, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with you, I sincerely don't believe Casillero del Diablo devil's story, the reference is taken from the official site though, therefore more sources are necessary for some topics.--Andersmusician VOTE 02:48, 22 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wineyards in Argentina

[edit]

I have deleted the sentence that C y T has only Wineyards in Chile, as I know for sure it manages it's subsidiary "Trivento" in Mendoza, Argentina. I think there are more posessions in Argentina, but I don't know them exactly, maybe somebody who knows could add an Argentine Section. Copyvio

[edit]

I'm more than a little disturbed at entire paragraphs being copied from the official site. 76.22.102.229 (talk) 23:50, 2 August 2010 (UTC)Digital Medievalist[reply]

Then, please, indicate exactly which paragraphs you refer to so they can be removed. WP:COPYVIO is dealt with instantly. MURGH talk 07:39, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
