Three inherent topics

There are three topics in this article, and I suggest that they shouldn't be confused:

1. whether Christianity originated from Therapeutae which originated from Theravada, a very-minority opinion claimed by a few authors, such as Freke and Gandy, which is also popular among Theosophists and other new-Agers, but otherwise generally dismissed

2. how similar Christianity and Buddhism are, irrespective of historical influences,

3. some few Christian Buddhists that claim that Christianity and Buddhism are compatible.

Most people have probably not heard of case 3., but I know there are Lutherans that claim to be Buddhist. Rursus dixit. (^mbork³!) 11:46, 2 December 2018 (UTC)

I agree that the organization of the article is problematic. What I consider more problematic, though, is the illegitimate use of sources to support statement that supposedly reflect mainstream science. I have removed three of those, and that is just a superficial check of one sentence in the lead, which was supported by four sources, of which I have now removed three.
