Lead/infobox
[edit]The game feature
- should be "features"The game was announced in April 2001 and released soon after. The game
- not a GA requirement, but I would suggest changing the second "The game" to "It", to avoid having two consecutive sentences begin with the same phrase- Jim Meston is mentioned in development, and should be included in the infobox
Gameplay
[edit]The game also includes moving platforms and teleporters
- This reads as "in addition to the platforms Keen can stand on, there are moving platforms". I assume he can stand on moving ones as well.- I think you should probably introduce the concept of entering levels from the overview map before
Once entered, the only way to exit a level
The game contains a variety of enemies in their levels,
- not a GA requirement, but I would suggest the simplerThe levels contain a variety of enemies
who must then be jumped on with the pogo stick to kill or destroy.
- am I reading this incorrectly, or should it beto be killed or destroyed
?
Plot
[edit]- I have never played this or any other Keen game - sacrilege, I'm sure - so I will just have to trust you that the plot summary is accurate. It looks good, with one small exception:
won't
should be changed towill not
Development
[edit]- Everything seems in order here. I would probably personally name the section something like "Background and development", but that's just my own opinion and not something you need to do for this review
Reception
[edit]the music and sound effects lack of upgrade
- should probably bethe music and sound effects' lack of upgrade
. Everything else looks fine.
Final comments/discussion
[edit]This article is very close to GA, with just a few minor changes that need to be made. I have also left a few suggestions that aren't necessary for GA purposes, but that I still think would improve the article. I'll leave this On hold for a week - if the issues are addressed by then, I'll pass the article.--IDVtalk 11:28, 18 September 2016 (UTC)
- All the issues have been addressed (by me).
Gamingforfun365 (talk) 00:35, 19 September 2016 (UTC)- Huh. Yeah, you did; I wasn't going to be able to get to it until tomorrow or Tuesday. Thanks! --PresN 01:08, 19 September 2016 (UTC)
