Etymology

I have added some information about the Welsh surnames that are suffixed with "s" that act in the same way as the English suffix "Son" . I feel this is valid as until as late at the 19th century the majority of the British population were illiterate and spellings were therefore not fixed. No, it would not. The nature of a surname article is to have a section that relates the origin and meaning of the surname and an associated list of persons who are notable and share the surname. By your reasoning, there could never co-exist a list of persons and information about the surname - all would be 'list-NA' which renders the classification and importance criteria utterly useless. --User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 03:51, 13 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
