Syntarsus kayentakatae is unlikely a species of Coelophysis.
[edit]Why does this seem to be the thing on Wikipedia? Most paleontogists I see refer to this as its own genus. Greg Paul is the only one I have seen in recent years using this name. — Preceding unsigned comment added by

- A search on Google scholar shows both names have been used in the literature the last few years, which hints at no real consensus. But it seems most dinosaur palaeontologists hate the name Megapnosaurus, so they'd probably sink the genus just to get rid of it... FunkMonk (talk) 13:06, 5 October 2017 (UTC)
- On the other hand, it seems kayentakatae now groups with neither Megapnosaurus or Coelophysis, and will need its own genus. Seems it groups with Dracovenator? FunkMonk (talk) 21:06, 1 November 2017 (UTC)
