[edit]I don't think the image gives the arms of the City of York - that is a stylised version of the arms used by the City Council as a logo. I'm pretty sure the Council never got the official grant of arms changed.

- If the arms are official from the College of Arms, they belong to York City Council, not the district. The caption should indicated this. MRSC • Talk 08:54, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
