Clean up
[edit]The expansion into an alphabetical list could be helpful (if it wernt strewn with so many false leads!) but I think a more encyclopedic approach would be to consider the genre historicaly (was Brahms aware of Glinka?) with listings by period or even chronological. A proper article might list any non-adhoc ensembles as well; I'm only aware of the short lived Maybeck Trio of Berkeley who performed for only a few years.
