It's a hoot!
[edit]This article is obviously never read. I sthere any chance that there could be some references cited?
- Sleepy places like Walton and Frinton are comfortable, if unexciting retirement havens.

2015 election result
[edit]Wasn't the 2015 General Election for Clacton a hold for UKIP? The infobox says it was a gain from the Conservatives. (I'm a Yankee so maybe I'm missing something in how British elections work?) Foreignshore (talk) 04:58, 23 February 2016 (UTC)

- It was a UKIP gain. Election results are always compared like-for-like, so by-election results are sort of discarded. doktorb wordsdeeds 18:52, 28 April 2017 (UTC)
