[edit]TAFE doesn't fit I think, I don't know the equivalent. Otherwise it looks great to me except I would prefer churches to have services rather than "meetings" but I may be out of date. Eddaido (talk) 10:23, 27 December 2019 (UTC)
- Done Thanks. --Scott Davis Talk 12:36, 27 December 2019 (UTC)
Easter Sunday
[edit]Maybe the three-and-a-days closure needs elaboration. Businesses can open on Easter Sunday if their council permits it. I think this happens in some tourist areas. Moriori (talk) 11:55, 28 December 2019 (UTC)
- Or alternatively, because this page is about Christmas (not Easter), just don't mention Good Friday and Easter Sunday at all. Ross Finlayson (talk) 17:22, 28 December 2019 (UTC)
- Ok, then let's not elaborate. Instead, amend "three-and-a-half days" of the year that must close to "two-and-half-days" because that is accurate per my opening sentence. Moriori (talk) 23:45, 28 December 2019 (UTC)
- I have trimmed it to "few" and removed the footnote, but kept the later reference to the legislation. --Scott Davis Talk 05:07, 29 December 2019 (UTC)

Balanced coverage template
[edit]As the article stands, almost everything about it relates to Auckland. Does Christmas not happen south of the Bombays? Grutness...wha? 01:19, 31 December 2023 (UTC)
