Fair use rationale for Image:Loveinc shep.jpg
[edit]Image:Loveinc shep.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

- If this is true, we would need to be able to cite a reliable source as per Wikipedia's guidelines. I've also reverted your edits. Please don't remove information from an article that already has a cited reference, as you did with his approximated year-of-birth. If you think this information is incorrect, best practice would be to discuss the issue on the article's talk page first, keeping in mind that we would also need to cite some other reliable sources that contradict the current year-of-birth published in the article. Chris Sheppard (DJ) → Chris Sheppard – Primary per pageviews, the Canadian musician is getting over 90% of clicks.[1] Delete dabpage per WP:ONEOTHER. 162 etc. (talk) 18:48, 17 August 2024 (UTC)
- Support. This Chris Sheppard has more sourcing than the other on the disambiguation page, Chris Sheppard (rugby league). This establishes the DJ as the primary topic. Svampesky (talk) 20:09, 17 August 2024 (UTC)
- Support as readers clearly are looking for the DJ. cookie monster 755 01:08, 18 August 2024 (UTC)
- Support: The DJ's page has a stronger online presence and more sources. It might make more sense to have the main article about him. Waqar💬 17:25, 18 August 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose. We need to keep the dabpage due to the five people on it with homophonous names. There needs to be somewhere to collect them together rather than huge hatnotes at the top of every article. Who's going to know how the individual surnames are spelt? And, frankly, the DJ is not more notable than all of them together. -- Necrothesp (talk) 10:50, 19 August 2024 (UTC)
- Chris Shepherd, Chris Shepard, and Chris Shephard are all distinct. See WP:SMALLDETAILS. 162 etc. (talk) 15:00, 19 August 2024 (UTC)
