Geazser (black sabbath bassit) wrote lryics not ozzy

[edit]

This is in reference to the quote on this wiki page " 'Children of the Grave', something just clicked," said lead singer Trevor Tuminski. "Ozzy Osbourne really isn't credited for the brilliant lyricist he is. In our troubled times, the words to that song just seemed the perfect fit for the themes at work on the record, not to mention the doomsday feel of the music"."

While Trevor Tuminski may have said that, what he is saying is wrong regrading who wrote the lryics. I think the quote should be removed —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.161.251.228 (talk) 14:45, 7 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That wierd noise

[edit]

Does anyone know what causes the clacking noise in the background of this song. At certain points there is a distinct " Clack, clack clack" in the background of the song. It's not the drummer, because both of his hands are occupied by playing the songs main beat at that part of the song. It's either a drumming overdub or the strings of the guitar or bass clacking against the fretboard. If anyone has an answer to this, PLEASE add it ot the main article.Slomping (talk) 04:21, 28 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Its overdubs that Bill Ward did using Rim shots. I agree , there could be more about the actual music , eg its in a harmonic minor key, the riff has its roots in latin american music etc etc...I might add a short music deconstruction section, if you guys think it's relevant. 86.176.49.11 (talk) 19:23, 12 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

That's how tom toms sounded before people learned the art of drum tuning. Finger loose and probably no resonant head. Student4N (talk) 05:23, 22 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
