Original research?
[edit]With the exception of the aviation section, this article seems like a mass of original research, most of it not even written in an encyclopedic manner. Almost all of it has been tagged since October 2012, which was 17 months ago. We really need to locate the refs all this was taken from and re-write it properly. Does anyone have reliable sources for all this tagged text? - Ahunt (talk) 11:56, 11 February 2014 (UTC)
- It has been over a week now with no response to this request so, since this is a notable topic and shouldn't go for deletion, I am going to suggest that the unsourced text be removed and the article stubbed. I'll leave this proposal up for another week for any thoughts or debate. - Ahunt (talk) 00:38, 20 February 2014 (UTC)
- With no objections over yet another week I will now go ahead and stub it. The unsourced text can be re-instated any time with proper refs added. - Ahunt (talk) 21:40, 26 February 2014 (UTC)

YD Series?
[edit]Offered for sale was a Corvair engine having the number TI02bYD. Which one is this? It's not included in the article's list. Thanks. Salut † --Jgrosay (talk) 11:25, 7 November 2014 (UTC)
- A lot of information was removed from this article, as described above, because no refs were cited, making the text unverifiable. If you can locate sources this could be added back in, but for now we are stuck expanding this without sources. - Ahunt (talk) 13:43, 7 November 2014 (UTC)
adding content - how do I contact the monitors?
[edit]Ok, I tried to add some valid content, (three places) only to have it disappear courtesy of the monitor. Was unable to contact him due to lack of anything that would allow me to do so.
I also don't know how one can add references when I'm going by documents that I have in my hands but are not posted somewhere on the net.

- Thanks for your note here. Everything substantive added to Wikipedia has to be verifiable, as the other editor who removed your additions noted in his edit summary. To find out how to add your sources see Wikipedia:Citing sources. - Ahunt (talk) 13:05, 14 February 2022 (UTC)
