[edit]There are two different Charlie Bradshaws. How can someone play while coaching a college football team? His stats show he played until 1968, his coaching record shows he was at U of K until 1968. It must be two different people.
- It's possible if they are referring to the season they played in. Since football seasons wrap around to the next year, Someone could play in the 1967-68 season and then be a coach for the 1968 season (which is 1968-69). Not that this is relevant to this discussion, but in the early years of college football (1900ish) it was not uncommon for players to also be the coach. MECU≈talk 14:00, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
Charlie Bradshaw
[edit]While the article mentions "the thin thirty", it doesn't mention the scandals that the book discusses. After reading the book, I came away seeing Charlie Bradshaw as a guy who abused players but didn't care about them at all and made no effort to protect them from predators hanging around the team. (both Gamblers and sexual predators). He had the toughness of Bear Bryant but no morals at all. 199.192.127.166 (talk) 05:52, 4 February 2018 (UTC)
