nice work Moonriddengirl. cheers, karl --KARL RAN (talk) 21:26, 6 March 2011 (UTC)
- I hope you don't mind that I've converted this from primarily a biography to an article about the artifact itself which seems (no offense to Mr. Knaud) far more notable than the physician himself. I've found a few other references to it, including one that describes as the oldest known kris in the world. That seems like a pretty big deal! --Moonriddengirl (talk) 21:29, 6 March 2011 (UTC)
nope, sounds reasonable. i became intrigued with the man when i recently stumbled upon the magazine article (see ref). i know a bit about the time period and its highly unusual for a white colonial to become a shaman. but agree the kris is probably more noticable and i couldnt find much more on the man anyway. article is in good shape now, tkx. krgds, karl --KARL RAN (talk) 22:07, 6 March 2011 (UTC)
