re-writing needed
[edit]unfortunaly, this article is not only written with some slang words but needs citations (also, there wasn't an 8.8 earthquake in popayan. if i'm correct, it was in tumaco (ecuador-colombian border). it is still far from popayan). thank you —Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.34.58.83 (talk) 22:04, 30 October 2010 (UTC)
Interesting though the article may be, I'm not sure any of this apart from the first paragraph is specifically relevant to Cerro Machin. The Spanish version of this page is closer to what needs to be written, and I can have a go at translating it for the English version. Richard3120 (talk) 12:09, 1 May 2011 (UTC)
There are several mispelling errors regarding geographic names, as well as the in the name of the Government body in charge of geological studies (It's Ingeominas, instead of "Inerominas") — Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.25.46.57 (talk) 04:37, 17 April 2012 (UTC)
