Merge

[edit]

Should Liquid Limit & Plastic Limit stubs be merged into this article and redirects left in their place? What about the Casagrande Device stub, which is also commonly referred to as a cup? --Zuejay 12:43, 12 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. Argyriou (talk) 22:36, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

isn't there a correlation between atterberg limits and cohesion strength factors (c,phi) of clays? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.182.74.112 (talk) 08:55, 21 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There are lots of correlations, all of them fairly poor. Argyriou (talk) 07:18, 22 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The importance of the liquid limit test

[edit]

"The importance of the liquid limit test is to classify soils." This is not an answer to the question. Liquid limits are related to properties of soils that affect construction, agriculture and many other applications.Landroo (talk) 19:50, 24 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
