In section on 'Early life' in the article on Harry Price, the psychic researcher, Price is stated to have founded the Carlton Dramatic Society at age 15 (ie in 1896/97, having been born in 1881). However this article on the Society (now Carlton Theatre Group) states it was founded, with Price a founder member, in 1927 when Price was in his mid 40s. Needs checking out although there is a citation used in support of the statement in the Harry Price article. An article I read on Price which, published in 1954 in the Shropshire Magazine in September and October that year, author David G. Kinrade, had drawn on the 1950 biography by Paul Tabori of Price, places the writing of his first play, titled The Sceptic, and the foundation of the drama group (which was not named in the article) when he was aged 15.Cloptonson (talk) 16:43, 5 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
