- Oppose Nooo! The cabinet list should be merge but History section is not! This is new politic history of Myanmar. Taung Tan (talk) 14:53, 8 August 2021 (UTC)
- Comment (This is just to take into consideration.) Cabinet of Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw had been redirected to National Unity Government of Myanmar, in the past, merging the former one's history and cabinet members to Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw#Acting cabinet of Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw. Htanaungg (talk) 15:02, 8 August 2021 (UTC)
- Merge and rename to Provisional Government of Myanmar: This order by the SAC makes it clear that the Cabinet (i.e. that which has the union ministers in it) that was formerly the Management Committee of the SAC is merely being rebranded as the Provisional Government. The name "Myint Swe's Cabinet" is something I came up with to try to follow past naming conventions, but it's now clear that the formal name for that body was the Management Committee. It's merely been renamed to look more civilian; that doesn't warrant two separate articles. So, in a way, I agree with Taung Tan. The history section can make clear that the name changed, but if we're going to merge the cabinet lists (which we should, otherwise it's a WP:CFORK), we should merge the articles. ― Tartan357 Talk 05:23, 22 August 2021 (UTC)
- Comment From my personal point of view, the issues are narrowed down to three points.
- Was "Notification No. 9/2021" really issued on February 19, 2021?
- Why didn't the SAC report the contents of "Notification No. 9/2021" until the state media announced it in August 2021?
- What is the differences in legal authority between the union government, which is the major executive branch in peacetime, and the provisional government in this time? —Unrestricted-Warrior (talk) 12:01, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
- Support – Nobody who has objected so far has explained why they believe the two are separate entities and not a simple rebrand by the junta. CentreLeftRight ✉ 05:28, 24 February 2022 (UTC)

Caretaker Government of Myanmar (2021) → Provisional Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar – Would it not be better to just move the article title to the official name? From the English sources given, it seems to me that "caretaker government" is the term the junta (SAC) used to describe its current cabinet, not a proper noun or title for it (that being "Provisional Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar"). Provisional Government of Myanmar might also be a good suggestion as well, although it might be ambiguous (for example, Ne Win had a provisional government, although the country was known as Burma at the time). - Comment: Provisional Government of Myanmar seems alright to me, but I'm not supporting it just yet. Your proposed title is not WP:CONCISE and we don't need to use the official names if a different name is more commonly used. As for the shorter Provisional Government of Myanmar title I think most English language sources typically talk about the SAC or the junta itself so I'm not sure myself on what to use EmeraldRange (talk) 02:29, 27 February 2022 (UTC)
