I have removed state parties. Add only national parties as there has been a controversy regarding info boxes as in Indian general election, 2014, which is currently under discussion. ShriramTalk 17:56, 4 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Shriram, I tried to keep myself fair by listing parties according to number of votes secured. [1] In my view there is no harm in having six parties (including state;these can be shortened to four) but i have to go as it is decided over here. Indian general election, 2014 gave me shock as it has been turned upside down in the last week . These two can be different.

I see no deletion tag over here but i would like to add that let's keep this page till results and see weather it grows or not, let us give ample time to grow. -Khushank94 (talk) 15:02, 5 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
What do you mean state? There are literally hundreds of state parties. But there are only six national parties, which constitutes 4 names (because of NCP-INC alliance and Left Front). These state parties should sit in opposition or form separate alliance (in that case, can be added) or support an alliance. So its better to mention only National parties. And that deletion tag was a mistake, sorry. ShriramTalk 16:20, 5 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
You can't do that on the basis on vote because different states have different population, surely SP may have got more than BSP, but SP is a state party. So I think using voting as basis is not a good idea. ShriramTalk 16:24, 5 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I told you that it can be shortened to four. Yes, absolutely there is a thought behind a party being National party or not. as it goes by the law. -Khushank94 (talk) 16:50, 5 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Now it looks quite beautiful, good work. ShriramTalk 18:08, 5 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
beautiful?? ,you can say nice(thats just a small thing). No ways-Thank You -Khushank94 (talk) 18:14, 5 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Now I have to mention this, there is a possibility of edit war by User:Soorejmg. ShriramTalk 06:15, 6 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Now I am beginning to think that the infobox is not necessary, since this article is linked from Indian general election, 2014's campaign section. ShriramTalk 06:38, 6 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
why not mend it and convince others rather than deleting it. If we have a tool than why not use it. -Khushank94 (talk) 10:04, 6 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I think the discussion in Indian general election, 2014 should be finished first before coming to any decision here. What do you say? ShriramTalk 16:27, 6 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

AAP Inclusion

[edit]

Hi Shriram] or Khushank94

The topic is ' Who is campaigning for LokSabha Elections and NOT who is national party or state party. Aam Aadmi Party is contesting for National elections and So Arvind Kejriwal's photo needs to be mentioned there for sure. It doesnt matter whether the party is State or National Party. What matters is whether the party is contesting for election or not. Aam Aadmi party is contesting in near to 412 seats which is more than any party. Neglecting Arvind Kejriwal even after this is a clear identification of manipulating wikipedia to influence public interest.

Hi, I am sensing that you are particularly interested in content relating AAP, most welcome. But when i go down to the allotted section(AAP) I can see that its length will only be four lines if we add three more words. The content is of real importance and is the soul and heart of articles. you can and are welcome to contribute there. you used words like "manipulating" and "influencing", I hope we could do so (of-course and surely for good) but this is just no platform to do that. These things doesn't influence anyone, they are just informative. No unfair advantage is or can be given to any party as it is just on the basis of performance in last election and AAP can surely join the fray in next election on basis of its performance and not on any bias.
Don't revert as you did here[2]. Discuss it here and just informing here doesn't free you to go ahead for your changes, consensus will. Keep the two pages Campaigning in the Indian general election, 2014 and Indian general election, 2014 separate.-Khushank94 (talk) 09:57, 6 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Shriram] or Khushank94, I have included all the parties in the new page that is cleverly created and the link included in the India General Election. I have also deleted the UserInfo box which give importance to certain people alone. This is again and again being changed back to Rahul Gandhi, Modi etc which looks like a preference for Shriram] . And now Edit war is filed on my page after you revert it back without any base?!!!!!!! This is a clear case of use of your Wiki knowledge against other Users who are trying to project correct things.

Hi Shriram] or Khushank94

I have mentioned the point here already. We cannot keep that information in page for a long time as that being a high profile matter and a sensational topic that influence opinion of people.

Thanks SoorejSoorejmg (talk) 15:02, 6 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
