Fair use rationale for Image:Callandvd.jpg

[edit]

Image:Callandvd.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 19:36, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Splitting page

[edit]

I've created a new page with the Callan Episode list on it, as this article was too long with the list on this page. Damiantgordon (talk) 20:18, 22 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The first thing I looked for was a list of episodes, and I didn't notice the link the first time I viewed the page. It is really a short article. I don't at all see the point of moving the episode list somewhere else.

[edit]

I was confused as I thought ABC television referred to Australian Broadcasting Corporation which broadcast the series but I doubt was involved in production. I guess it refers to Associated British Corporation, but then the text should link to the Associated_British_Corporation page.

Footage in Equalizer?

[edit]

I recall reading somewhere that footage of Woodward from either Callan or around the time Callan was made appears in an episode of The Equalizer in order to illustrate the younger Robert McCall. That doesn't mean McCall and Callan are the same, but it would be interesting to note if this can be verified. Something similar happened in an NCIS episode where a publicity photo of David McCallum from Man from UNCLE was used to illustrate Dr. Mallard as a young man. 70.72.221.229 (talk) 16:43, 17 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The Monochrome Years set

[edit]

Here in Australia I bought the Monochrome Years set some years ago but it does contain all the monochrome episodes as it is a two disc set not four disc set.

It will be good if someone fill this in the article itself. The reason I can't do it myself is that I do not know where the Monochrome Years set that I bought is right now but definitely am sure that does not include the Armchair Theatre pilot. 122.108.156.100 (talk) 01:07, 11 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Schneider

[edit]

Schneider can't live in Hampstead - he leaves the house in his launch, so he is by the river. Richmond, perhaps? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.93.220.33 (talk) 09:14, 28 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
