reading level & vocabulary
[edit]Hello. I have a BA from an Ivy League college and something of a scientific training, but little background in biology; that said, I do not understand this article, and think it would be more useful to the general reader or student if the major points were summarized in non-specialist language. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.132.12.83 (talk) 05:49, 18 January 2014 (UTC)

Vitamin D receptor terminology
[edit]Calcitriol receptor has only 34 current Pubmed listings (only 2 since 2000) whereas Vitamin D receptor has over 6000. I propose that the balance of the terminology in this article should reflect common usage. Jrfw51 (talk) 10:34, 2 June 2017 (UTC)
- Good to see the change has now been made. Jrfw51 (talk) 08:50, 18 July 2020 (UTC)
