[edit]I'd propose that the Buk either direct users to the article on the Buk SAM given it was used to shoot down MH17 or, at the very least, it be redirected to this disambiguation page. I'd venture a guess that the Buk SAM article has received more hits since July than the Polish town has received since WP came online. -- 93.105.179.48 (talk) 22:34, 26 October 2014 (UTC)

– This town of about 6,000 inhabitants is definitely not the primary topic over all the other topics with the name, which include a few districts, a fair number of villages (two of which are municipality centres) as well as a missile system (itself apparently accounting for the lion's share of the usage). The choice of disambiguator follows the Poland naming conventions. – Uanfala (talk) 14:33, 26 May 2022 (UTC)

- Support per nomination and Crouch, Swale. There are 24 entries listed upon the Buk (disambiguation) page, with no indication that the renown of the small Polish town overwhelms the combined notability of the remaining 23 entries. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 17:49, 26 May 2022 (UTC)
