Talk:Saint Petersburg Commodity and Stock Exchange

Proposed move
[edit]Building of Commodity-stock exchange Saint Petersburg and a housing complex Financier → Saint Petersburg Exchange building — The current title seems to be an imperfect translation from Russian. The Russia Journal (PDF) refers to "St. Petersburg Exchange" and "the exchange's floor on Vasilievsky Island"; The Moscow News weekly uses "Exchange building" with a capital letter; and the New York Times simply refers to a new exchange building without using a proper name. - Saint Petersburg Exchange building is Old Saint Petersburg Stock Exchange and Rostral Columns. Modern buildung called "The financier" and other building is commodity and stock exchange .--Andrey! 04:51, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
- What would you think about renaming the article "Saint Petersburg Commodity and Stock Exchange"? or maybe "New Saint Petersburg Commodity and Stock Exchange"? Is "Saint Petersburg Financier building" more accurate? Cnilep (talk) 15:08, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
- Good idea to use "Commodity and Stock Exchange" instead of "Stock Exchange". And about "Financier accommodation unit" it is possible and to mention in article.--Andrey! 06:17, 5 September 2009 (UTC)
