Status of the 75 year old man
[edit]can we get updates? I have a hard time trusting information from the police recently - see the situation of Floyd, where there were wrongful statements made as well. I can not imagine you can recover from hitting the concrete with the back of your head in a single day - the video does not match the claim, IMO. 2A02:8388:1641:8380:1535:595B:9280:DF61 (talk) 12:47, 6 June 2020 (UTC)
More sources required
[edit]I removed some material that was not included in the citation. Maybe there are other sources that cover this? --Malerooster (talk) 15:44, 7 June 2020 (UTC)
Removal of peer-reviewed research
[edit]An editor scrubbed peer-reviewed research on the history of the BPD from the page. The content should be restored ASAP.[1] Furthermore, the lead to the article should clearly cover the BPD's history of misconduct and police brutality, as well as highly notable retaliations against BPD officers. - @Snooganssnoogans The content wasn't deleted, but moved to a new section (police misconduct and other controversies). From what I've seen, lead paragraphs tend to have a short summary of the article rather than all the details.--WuTang94 (talk) 04:33, 26 June 2020 (UTC)
- You removed research about the origins of the BPD, including how it was founded and run in the early decades to protect business interests in labor disputes. Snooganssnoogans (talk) 23:36, 26 June 2020 (UTC)
- That too was moved to the "Police misconduct and other controversies" section.--WuTang94 (talk) 00:19, 27 June 2020 (UTC)
