@Nick Moyes: Nick. I added a link to the Newcomb Cleveland Prize. One was within the article above already but it was to a WP page. I changed this to the AAAS page.
For the SDSU Distinguished Alumni award the Geological Sciences Dept. doesn't list the awardees. I have the trophy though with my name on it. I could figure out a way to put it on my web page and then add a link to the photo as a citation
For the Antarctic Service Medal, the USAP website doesn't list holders. Again, I have the medal and could put a photo of it online. (BTW the WP page lists holders of the medal and they don't have citations to back up the claims). What do you think? Bruce BrucePL (talk) 20:25, 11 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Nick Moyes: Nick. I seem unable to edit the citations on my BLP page. I want to add URLs but the edit box does not appear in list form. It is one block. What is the workaround? Thanks. BrucePL (talk) 16:45, 22 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@BrucePL: Could you clarify what you mean by ...but the edit box does not appear in list form? can you clarify how far you can get in editing in either editor mode, and where you get stuck? Do you mean the drop down list of citation templates in source editor? If so, you need to first hit the Cite button in the line above to get the next level to display, which contains those templates. (I'll be away and probably out of mobile signal much of this weekend, so if no speedy reply from me, do use the Teahouse.) Nick Moyes (talk) 17:35, 22 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I mean editing an existing citation in VE. The edit citation opens with a single box that can't be edited. I can't get the journal template to display. BrucePL (talk) 19:34, 22 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@BrucePL: Ive just done a test edit in VE via my iphone with no problem. All I can suggest is purginging your cache, trying a different browser, and then rebooting. I presume this is an action you've done before OK? Nick Moyes (talk) 20:10, 22 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Same problem with Firefox and Safari. Can't open an edit template for journals or books. Don't think clearing Safari cache will help. I'll redo the references. BrucePL (talk) 00:24, 23 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Nick Moyes: Nick. I think I know what happened to some refs. They apparently were created in VE and used Manual/Basic Form. For some reason I don't remember, I didn't use Journal form. BrucePL (talk) 16:14, 24 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
