Out of Business
[edit]They're out of business, closed sometime in early 2020.

Design flaws section?
[edit]Who made the decision to create a sub-heading called Design Flaws when the quoted source uses neither term? Portal123 (talk) 23:55, 20 May 2013 (UTC)
- I'd say it doesn't warrant a subheading at all. Leave the paragraph of prose, but just run it into the heading above. Optionally, split the first paragraph of that section to start a new one when the charging arm is discussed. Then, paragraph two talks about the arm and accessory mounting rails, while paragraph three talks about criticisms of their design. —C.Fred (talk) 00:00, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
- It was one observation made by one person; based on their personal preference. How does one person's personal preference qualify as a Design Flaw? What is the justification to dedicate a paragraph to criticism of the design? Portal123 (talk) 14:35, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
- Where are the other editors that are supposed to see the discussion? We would like to bring this matter to a swift close.Portal123 (talk) 21:47, 22 May 2013 (UTC)
- Still waiting. What is causing the delay?Portal123 (talk) 01:43, 6 June 2013 (UTC)
- I've restructured the paragraph and removed the description of it as a flaw, similar to what I did above. If any editors object, I'd love to hear from them here. —C.Fred (talk) 00:08, 13 June 2013 (UTC)
Page move
[edit]I see that the lead paragraph has been rewritten to refer to the rifle as the ADCOR A-556. Should the article be moved to that title as well?
(Mind you, I mean a full move of the history, not just a copy and paste of the text.) —C.Fred (talk) 19:01, 10 December 2015 (UTC)
- @C.Fred: This page should definitely be moved. However, I am unsure of exactly what title to use. From Adcor's website, I believe the weapons full name, including manufacturer, is "Adcor Defense ADCOR A-556 ELITE", but that might be considered a bit lengthy, so "Adcor Defense A-556 ELITE" or "Adcor A-556 ELITE" might be more appropriate. RadiculousJ (talk) 17:46, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
- @RadiculousJ: We use the common name, so Adcor A-556 appears to be the name to use. I've moved it. —C.Fred (talk) 17:53, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
Reality
[edit]So how long must ADCOR Defense be a slave to the Wikipedia editors? ADCOR Defense has attempted, on numerous occasions, to share accurate information regarding its product line. The Wikipedia Editors have made their own uneducated opinions known without even talking to our senior management or even visiting ADCOR"S manufacturing facility in person. We call bullshit. Please call 410-327-3083 for the real story and stop speculating. Sincerely, A Frustrated ADCOR Team — Preceding unsigned comment added by 73.128.247.48 (talk) 02:10, 11 August 2017 (UTC)
