Possible improvements

I have completed the B class checklist and feel that this article could be improved by addressing the following issues:

Referencing: each paragraph or block of information requires a source for verification purposes, this can be achieved by including in-line citations;
Coverage: the article currently has a unit history section, however, there is nothing in it. If this could be completed, it would serve to balance the article and provide a comprehensive coverage of the topic;
Supporting materials: a photograph would serve to illustrate the article more, although the infobox by itself is fine for a B class.
