Accessibility
[edit]Is the bridge accessible to be walked through, or is the garden meant to only be appreciated from afar? LordAmeth (talk) 04:25, 24 March 2010 (UTC)
- You can walk through it. Kevin Rutherford (talk) 20:28, 24 August 2010 (UTC)
Reopening?
[edit]Would it make sense to say “reopened 1929” or something like that? Below where it says “began 1907”, “opened 1908”, and “closed 1927”? Obviously locals and anyone who has visited or anyone who reads the full article will understand, but just the same it seems odd to me to suggest in any way that it has been closed since 1927. - It makes sense to me to simply indicate in the Infobox that the bridge opened in 1908 and was rebuilt in 1929 and 1983, so I made as edit to change this in the article. In a sense the bridge never closed since it continued to carry the water main across the river in the late 1920s.FFM784 (talk) 16:20, 11 November 2023 (UTC)
