Brics (municipality) → Brics, Olius – We don't typically use "(municipality)" to disambiguate Spanish place names, and we especially shouldn't here, since Brics isn't actually a municipality. When sub-municipal places in Spain need disambiguation, the typical DAB of choice seems to be the name of the municipality that includes the place; here, the municipality is Olius, so that's the DAB I've proposed. Looking at the category that contains this article, parenthetical disambiguation appears to be the most common style for sub-municipal Spanish places, but I've opted to propose comma-separated disambiguation instead as I feel that's more WP:CONSISTENT with how we disambiguate populated place names in other parts of the world. Finally, another title I'd accept would be Brics, Lleida, which is less WP:CONSISTENT with similar articles but may be more comprehensible to the average reader. - Merge with Olius; no evidence of any particular notability. 162 etc. (talk) 15:15, 28 August 2023 (UTC)
- I'd support this alternative as well. ModernDayTrilobite (talk • contribs) 16:43, 28 August 2023 (UTC)
- I agree. A merge is definitely best here. estar8806 (talk) ★ 17:44, 28 August 2023 (UTC)
- Support Brics, Spain.
Where there is no Wikipedia convention on a specific country and disambiguation is necessary, it is generally reasonable to use [[placename, nation]]...
Appears to be a distinct hamlet (with a church, which suggests it was once more significant than it is now), so passes WP:GEOLAND. -- Necrothesp (talk) 12:48, 29 August 2023 (UTC) - Support Brics, Spain seems to be unique in Spain, nothing found in GeoNames and agree its notable as it appears to be a settlement with census data.
