Billy Tipton
[edit]This is not to make fun of or berate Brett Dennen, it's an honest observation. He may be this generation's Billy Tipton. 98.221.141.21 (talk) 06:38, 16 November 2012 (UTC)
The "Bob's"?
[edit]Is this a direct quote or a grammatical error by the article editor?
If it is a quote, it should read as 'the "Bob's" [sic]'. SgnDave 19:31, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
Who's this about?
[edit]This article could use more content about Brett Dennen and less about the actually famous musicians he likes. Fan-1967 01:28, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
- I agree. This article reads like a press release not a biography. I'll try to find some time to work on it. momoricks make my day 10:00, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
Agreed - I've started altering the tone to make it read less like his PR rep wrote it. GetMKWearMKFly (talk) 13:36, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
Agreed - The first two paragraphs read more like a who's who of Ventura & Ojai locals. It's more about Leslie, her friends and family than it is about Dennen. The third paragraph doesn't even mention Dualtone, who picked Dennen up at that point. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 162.222.216.32 (talk) 22:27, 9 July 2014 (UTC)
Itunes Discovery Download?
[edit]Should somebody possibly make mention of his feature as an iTunes discovery download? Many people probably listened to him for the first time through that. --Wavemaster447(Need help? Ask me) 02:47, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
What about his background?
[edit]How come there's no early life? The article immediately jumps to 2004, when he was first beginning his career. But what about before that? Place of birth, parents, childhood, how he got interested in music, etc., those are important details that I'm quite sure readers would love to know, especially all of those things are crucial into shaping him to be the person he is today. --Whip it! Now whip it good! 04:36, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
Promo Handout Feeling
[edit]The entire piece sounds like it was written by a first year publicist. Plenty of edits by the unidentified. Needs editorial medicine. Rainbow-five (talk) 03:21, 27 January 2012 (UTC)
Agreed - Seems like it was written by Leslie or one of her friends, and it's more about her and her friends. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 162.222.216.32 (talk) 22:30, 9 July 2014 (UTC)
