Move proposal
[edit]Move to the more commonly used Breadcrumbs. "Bread crumbs" is any random crumbs from bread, breadcrumbs is the culinary ingredient. Turkeyphant 16:56, 31 May 2012 (UTC)
Panko
[edit]This section needs an edit - it's self contradictory. Do they have crusts or not?
Panko -- inconsistent
[edit]The Panko section seems wrong? It first says the bread is cooked in a way that has no crust, then says there are two varieties: with & without crust(!). quota (talk) 16:25, 6 July 2012 (UTC)
'Panko' section removed
[edit]I've chosen to remove the panko section entirely, since it sounds like an advertisement. Why else would someone add a list of recipes all linking to the same website? Even the sole reference, 'Secrets of Panko Revealed', seems...questionable. I've also renamed the 'Overview' section to 'Types', so if someone wants to re-add a section on panko after finding better sources, they can put it there. 183.83.212.255 (talk) 02:58, 6 September 2018 (UTC)
- I've reverted the edit as the panko section (minus the excessive links, which I've removed) seems like it'd be related to this article since it's about a type of bread crumbs. Sakura CarteletTalk 03:03, 6 September 2018 (UTC)
Panko disputed
[edit]The section is based on just one producer (advertising?) video. Another (Japanese) producer for example here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ky0YDKvGggo Reing (talk) 00:46, 7 November 2023 (UTC)

Bread crumbs → Breadcrumbs – "Breadcrumbs" seems to be more common than "Bread crumbs". JacktheBrown (talk) 23:29, 30 March 2024 (UTC)
- Support: per WP:RETAIN, as this seems to have been the original title and was subject to an undiscussed move. YorkshireExpat (talk) 18:14, 31 March 2024 (UTC)
- Support per above, and nom is backed up by Ngrams. DankJae 08:20, 2 April 2024 (UTC)
