Last year's casualty change

[edit]

In the last year, the long-standing 1 killed casualty statistic for the Serb paramilitaries was changed to 3 killed, citing sources from the 1990s. Wikipedia:WikiProject Military history/Academy/The effect of aging sources provides a good explanation for why this isn't a best practice when more recent sources are available. During Seselj's trial at the ICTY, it was stated that Milic was the only casualty on the Serb side. [1] Moreover, the White Eagles monument in Borovo Selo only mentions Milic's name. [2] Hence, I have decided to be WP:BOLD and revert the change. Open to discuss. Best, Amanuensis Balkanicus (talk) 15:05, 31 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
