Most of the text in this article seems to be about the Oromo in general, and is not specific to the Borana. I'm thinking that this should either be merged with Oromo, or move the more general text to Oromo, though the latter this would leave a pretty short article. (Another "merge to" target might be Gadaa; see Talk:Gadaa.) -- Gyrofrog (talk) 04:58, 1 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I have moved the text in question to Oromo. -- Gyrofrog (talk) 18:52, 8 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

For an excellent article on the Borana, please refer to Gudrun Dahl and Gemetchu Megressa's "The Spiral of Ram's Horn: Boran Concepts of Development" from the book "Take Off: Local Notions of Development" or "The Post-Development Reader" compiled by Majid Rahnema and Victoria Bawtree.

Bias

[edit]

The phrasing in this Wiki is not neutral. Seems biased towards Borana/Oromo people when discussing historical events 2601:449:4780:22A0:F5C5:15:DA9E:855A (talk) 01:44, 3 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
