Merge proposal
[edit]I recommend merging Windows Vista startup process into this article. There is no longer a need to have them separate. -- Dave Braunschweig (talk) 17:47, 18 June 2013 (UTC)
- Perhaps Windows Vista startup process could be merged into Windows NT startup process, but not into the parent article Windows startup process, which discusses (and should continue to discuss) all versions of Windows, including the DOS-based ones. However, there is so much more that could be included into these articles that I would rather keep them separate. --Matthiaspaul (talk) 18:14, 18 June 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose The Windows NT 6.x is quite different to the Windows NT 5.x and Windows startup process should summarize the key differences between them and older Windows releases. I'm also closing the merge proposal due to silence. --M4t3uz (talk) 22:38, 14 April 2014 (UTC)

[edit]Shouldn't this be mentioned somewhere? I came here looking for it because I couldn't remember the name and was certain that WikiPedia would refresh my memory ... but it's not here. . PcGnome (talk) 05:20, 5 June 2015 (UTC)
