Blessed Marianus Scotus → Marianus Scotus of Regensburg – MOS:HONORIFIC which links through to Wikipedia:Naming conventions (clergy) "Saints go by their most common English name, minus the "Saint", unless they are only recognisable through its inclusion." (shortcut MOS:SAINTS) also New Catholic Encyclopedia: Catholic University of America - 2003 Mab-Mor - Page 164 has entry under "Marianus Scotus of Regensburg". - Support proposed title, or the alternative Marianus Scotus of Ratisbon, as the parallel titling would make it much easier to distinguish this individual from Marianus Scotus of Mainz. Both of the preceding forms are common in historical literature. 168.12.253.66 (talk) 17:40, 9 November 2013 (UTC)
