Added Extra Team Players
[edit]Hi guys. I've now added a new section that's dedicated to other teams that Mihashi's team will be facing. Any info would be greatly appreciated =). Please, do not delete the "Team Player section" thank you &ndash Zeta26 23:00, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
Official Name is Confirmed
[edit]The official name has been given via FUNimation. And it's called; Big Windup. Please, do not change it back. Zeta Nova 14:35, 18 June 2008 (UTC).
Ookiku Furikabutte's direct translation is more likely a 'big swing', but I guess FUNimation adopted 'Big Windup' instead, for a valid reason. (as some people might mistake the series with a protagonist of a hitter, instead of a pitcher)Let me try renaming the article and see how it works.Stevefis (talk) 21:35, 1 August 2008 (UTC)
Please split the character page
[edit]It is very tedious to me (and perhaps other wikipedia users) to scroll the article all the way down. The character page needs to be split as it takes too much proportion of the article.Stevefis (talk) 21:03, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
- It also needs to be trimmed of most of the (pretty much trivial) bulleted information, with the rest (possibly just the position, at that) folded into prose. —Quasirandom (talk) 03:50, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
- Even after trimming out the bulleted informations, the number of characters in the section would still be too many to fit into the main article. So I went ahead and splitted it from the main article. I personally think it looks a lot better.Stevefis (talk) 05:17, 30 October 2008 (UTC)
Expansion of Reception Section
[edit]I edited the Reception section to add some information about the reception in the North American market. Unfortunately, it's bad news for fans. FUNiMATION Entertainment announced a year and ten months ago (as of today, December 5th, 2011) that they had no intention of licensing the second animated adaptation, Ookiku Furikabutte: Natsu no Taikai-hen / Big Windup!: The Summer Tournament
Please reply here if there's an idea of what further expansion may be required. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.118.180.198 (talk) 10:34, 5 December 2011 (UTC)
