- ... that Beyond the Wall, a book about East Germany, was well reviewed in the UK but deeply controversial in Germany? Source: [1][2][3][4][5][6]
Created by Llewee (talk). Self-nominated at 13:20, 3 June 2023 (UTC). Post-promotion hook changes for this nom will be logged at Template talk:Did you know nominations/Beyond the Wall (2023 book); consider watching this nomination, if it is successful, until the hook appears on the Main Page.
- All reliable sources, the hook is interesting and was nominated on time. However, most of these single quotes should be double quotes (MOS:DOUBLE), and since you have five DYK credits, this one will require a QPQ.--NØ 16:53, 7 June 2023 (UTC)
- Hi MaranoFan, thank you for reviewing this nomination, I have corrected the issues with quotation marks. I've also reviewed 3 nominations including one which has been approved.Llewee (talk) 14:00, 17 June 2023 (UTC)
- The article does have a few more direct quotes than I'd like but the prose seems to narrowly go over 1500 characters without it so it should be fine.--NØ 18:57, 17 June 2023 (UTC)
