Help needed

I have removed the sentence Those victims succeeding the first were called ἔφεδροι, until the last who was termed ἔχατοι. because it doesn't make sense. Will someone reword it, please? BlueValour 22:58, 24 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

the term gladiator referred specifically to one who fought other men

lavatory sponges

it is not altogether clear whether Seneca is being sarcastic; a Latinist might be able to help out here.
