Lack of Support
[edit]This article is NOT based upon anything but this guy's resume. It needs to be improved or eliminated. --76.31.117.185 (talk) 19:11, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
Agree with above. This article is COMPLETELY unsourced and quite clearly written by the subject himself. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Donnezmoi (talk • contribs) 17:05, 5 June 2010 (UTC)
You would think a self-touted ‘scholar’ and ‘religious leader’ would refrain from such self-aggrandizement just to disguise pretense and, at the very least, make an effort to honor Dr. Martin Luther King.
Dr. King had an ethical compass. Apparently, the author/subject needs to sell some books. I know the author (COI) and while my own Wikipedia articles were the subject of much controversy, I’m not supposed to be held to the “highest moral values of our Jewish [leaders]”. The author has a clear COI with regard to potential financial rewards from promoting his literary work (e.g. book on Dr. Martin Luther King). You can’t make this stuff up!!! I’ll risk the embarrassment for both of us. -Dr. Jordan Carlton Schaul
For reference: “Conflict of interest (COI) editing involves contributing to Wikipedia about yourself, family, friends, clients, employers, or your financial and other relationships. Any external relationship can trigger a conflict of interest. When an external role or relationship could reasonably be said to undermine the interests of improving this encyclopedia, the editor has a conflict of interest....
COI editing is strongly discouraged on Wikipedia. It undermines public confidence and risks causing public embarrassment to the individuals and companies being promoted. Editors with a COI are sometimes unaware of whether or how much it has influenced their editing. If COI editing causes disruption, an administrator may opt to place blocks on the involved accounts.” — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1012:B059:9FC:A881:578C:508C:3AEB (talk) 06:19, 5 March 2019 (UTC)
