[edit]According to ITF acceptance list, the NOC of Belgium "has yet to approve" the participation of the 2 players who made the ITF criteria, Steve Darcis and Olivier Rochus. I would like to know if this is a final decision of NOCB or it is still under consideration.--Nitsansh (talk) 08:23, 5 July 2008 (UTC)
- The BOIC first didn't select them, but Rochus-Darcis sued them, won the case and went to Beijing. So, it's a final decision :-D Mango101 (talk) 21:36, 5 August 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Israeli media reported that Belgium has withdrawn one of its qualified athletes in this sport, and the vacancy created went to Israel in the K-1 500 competition, thus allowing 2000 bronze medallist Michael Kolganov to go to Beijing. It doesn't make sense to me since Belgium has qualified in K-1 1000 and K-2 1000, but not in K-1 500... can someone explain this?--Nitsansh (talk) 08:23, 5 July 2008 (UTC)
