Mr. Parsons certainly does not belong on this page yet, although I have every expectation he will some day accomplish something suitably notable. This is hardly open to debate.

I would encourage users to debate Ms. Irwin's inclusion on the page as well; while her talent is obvious and her television appearances are impressive, she fails to meet the most basic Wikipedia notability guidelines, does nothing to illuminate the town of Bel Air, and - until she accomplishes something truly notable, which we all have every hope she will - frankly deserves better than to be patronized by being put on the same dais as Kimmie Meissner and John Wilkes Booth. I believe the litmus test would be her own wiki page. If she is notable enough to warrant her own page (and she has one), then she should be notable enough to be linked from here. Rurik 21:23, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Fair enough for now, Rurik - I was aware of her page, but not of the similar pages for dozens of other less-than-notable contestants, and it's not fair to single her out exclusively. I still think we need to be careful about what we link to the town page, though. If someone were to write a lovingly-detailed article on his golden retriever (resident in Bel Air), his father's barber's preserved-fruit-and-abacus collection (archived in Bel Air), or the seventh parking space from the front in the fourth row from the left between Barnes and Noble and Einstein Brothers (in Bel Air), I would not expect any of them to be linked here. Agreed, and I think this is a short-term notability, if anything. She's known for appearing in one season of a show. Once the season is gone, and forgotten, then her notability would also decrease and should warrant a removal. This would definitely be an issue to follow up on at a later time. Moved data I created to article page.

Miitants sent to blow up Brown?? Blow up the courthouse in protest of Brown's trial, no?? That sentence makes little sense and needs clarification. Why would 2 panthers have been on their way to blow up their own man?? Bizzare. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.196.248.213 (talk) 07:42, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I was living in Bel Air at the time of the Brown/Featherstone explosion/incident. What I heard was that Ralph Featherstone (the guy who died in the car explosion) was coming to Bel Air with the bomb to break Brown out of jail. The bomb was either going to be used to do that or was going to be planted somewhere else to create a diversion to assist in the jailbreak. Featherstone may or may not have been the only person involved. Rumors were there may have been other Panther members waiting for Ralph to arrive and assist. If the bomb had not prematurely gone off, who knows what kind of mayhem would have ensued that day. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.172.8.13 (talk) 13:47, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
