[edit]

A section of text in this article matched word for word with a National Park Service web site. The text has been removed. I will try to re-write the section at a later date. WVhybrid (talk) 20:02, 16 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There are dozens and dozens of older articles that are copied from the National Park Service. In the past, this has been an allowable practice as the NPS material has not been copyrighted as it is a government publication. Scott Mingus (talk) 01:03, 19 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The section wasn't in quotes and wasn't attributed to the original writer, so I deleted it with intentions to replace the text. Nice job on the rewrite.WVhybrid (talk) 04:03, 19 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Carnefix/Carnifex

[edit]

Is that correct - that the local family were named Carnefix, not Carnifex? Valetude (talk) 19:06, 23 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
