The Forgotten Soldier as source

[edit]

Sajer's The Forgotten Soldier does not appear to be a suitable source for an encyclopedia article. I've tagged the article accordingly. K.e.coffman (talk) 20:23, 30 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. Very few were seriously looking at the German archives back in 1965. Proceeding with deletion. EyeTruth (talk) 01:28, 19 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong title for the content

[edit]

The title is simply wrong in light of the article's content. The content covers the attack on Belgorod and the followup battles around Bogodukhov. The Battle of Belgorod ended on 05 August when German defences around the city vanished, and the battles around Bogodukhov didn't get settled until around 17 August. Either the scope of content changes or the title changes, else there will remain some incongruency. It's better for the title to change, since the battle for Belgorod was just the early stage of the offensive operation to neutralize the German supply center at Bogodukhov. I've implemented the move. Battle of Belgorod now redirects to Belgorod-Bogodukhov Offensive Operation as it was just a part of this operation. EyeTruth (talk) 21:40, 18 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
