This ride is called "Batman - The Dark Knight"
[edit]I know this because not only do I work on this ride, the ride's name was never officially changed to "Batman - The Ride", due to the cancellation of the installation of the other "Dark Knight" coaster. The sign on this ride still, and always has, said "Batman - The Dark Knight". The ONLY indication that this ride is currently referred to as "Batman the Ride" is on employee certification cards, where it is called that. The park never directly refers to the coaster as that, and it is still publicly called "Batman - The Dark Knight". Matt0028 (talk) 18:04, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

1. Well-written: | ||
1a. the prose is clear, concise, and understandable to an appropriately broad audience; spelling and grammar are correct. |
"Once the floors drop" Could you make this more concise? What do you mean the floors "drop"? Done
| |
1b. it complies with the Manual of Style guidelines for lead sections, layout, words to watch, fiction, and list incorporation. |
"It was manufactured by Clermont Steel Fabricators located in Batavia, Ohio who manufactures Bolliger & Mabillard's roller coasters" Why is this in the Track section? Why not anywhere else? Does this apply to the whole article or just the track section. Done
| |
2. Verifiable with no original research:
2a. it contains a list of all references (sources of information), presented in accordance with the layout style guideline. |
No reference for this statement "The train structure use's the same colors as the track, the seats are pueple, and uses over-the-shoulder restraints that are yellow. Also, unlike traditional steel roller coasters, Batman - The Dark Knight has no floor on its trains." Done
2b. reliable sources are cited inline. All content that could reasonably be challenged, except for plot summaries and that which summarizes cited content elsewhere in the article, must be cited no later than the end of the paragraph (or line if the content is not in prose). |
After reviewing reference 7, I cannot find any information to support this claim "The track is colored purple (with blue rails) while the supports are black". Done Since the statistics in the lead are not cited there or in the infobox, could you please reference them? Done
| |
2c. it contains no original research.
3. Broad in its coverage:
3a. it addresses the main aspects of the topic. | I'm not satisfied that there is sufficient detail in either the "track" or "trains" sections. Done
3b. it stays focused on the topic without going into unnecessary detail (see summary style).
4. Neutral: it represents viewpoints fairly and without editorial bias, giving due weight to each.
5. Stable: it does not change significantly from day to day because of an ongoing edit war or content dispute.
6. Illustrated, if possible, by media such as images, video, or audio:
6a. media are tagged with their copyright statuses, and valid non-free use rationales are provided for non-free content.
6b. media are relevant to the topic, and have suitable captions.
7. Overall assessment. | Pending |

About ref 7, techinaclly, a source is not needed if a photo in the article can support the statment, in which both photos in the article support the colours. Just for the sake of it, I've added a source to an RCDB photo.--Dom497 (talk) 13:41, 9 February 2013 (UTC)
I have addressed your comments.--Dom497 (talk) 20:22, 9 February 2013 (UTC)

Per WP:LEAD, to avoid redundant citations, if the info in the lead is repeated elsewhere in the article, that statement in the lead doesn't need a ref/citation. Next, about the Steel Fabricators, yes, the steel company only manufactured the track which is why it is the track section. Finally, about the trains using the same colour's as the track, as mentioned above, if a photo in the article can support the info, a citation is not necessary.--Dom497 (talk) 12:25, 15 February 2013 (UTC)
- I've reworded the first line of the ride experience section to make it clearer [diff]. Themeparkgc Talk 07:31, 17 February 2013 (UTC)
- I do not need to repeat myself about 2a as I have already addressed it (see above). For 2b, I added a ref in the lead because refs can not be added in the infobox for the height, speed, lenght as the template will give an error message.--Dom497 (talk) 23:58, 17 February 2013 (UTC)
- In response to your post on my talk page, here is why you need a reference, the criteria states that "statements that are challenged" must have a reference. I am challenging the idea that most steel rollercoasters have a floor. Who knows how many of these types of rollercoasters exist? I don't, so reference it please. ★★RetroLord★★ 20:47, 18 February 2013 (UTC)
- Its at Floorless Coaster. There are only 12 out of thousands of thousands of coasters.--Dom497 (talk) 21:34, 18 February 2013 (UTC)
I still feel it needs to be explained somehow. Could you please work a link into that bit to the floorless coaster article? ★★RetroLord★★ 03:09, 19 February 2013 (UTC)
- Done.--Dom497 (talk) 01:49, 20 February 2013 (UTC)
