Apparent feuding

[edit]

It comes across as suspicious this apparent feuding and negativity on BARBARA SINATRA'S page. That's right - the page name should be corrected to read her commonly used surname: Sinatra — Preceding unsigned comment added by StyleIcons (talkcontribs) 06:44, 31 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This page is in no way biographical. The statements made are totally without attribution and don't even sound anecdotal. It presents serious allegations against Mrs. Sinatra which are grossly unfair given the lack of sources. It is evident that someone has "an axe to grind," here.

Libel

[edit]

This article contains LIBELOUS allegations, totally lacking in probative value. It doesn't belong on Wikipedia! When is someone going to DELETE the whole of it?— Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.200.116.130 (talkcontribs) 23:01, June 6, 2005 (UTC)

It looks like someone has gone through and chopped the objectionable material.— Preceding unsigned comment added by RJFJR (talkcontribs) 16:23, June 21, 2005 (UTC)

Correct article spelling

[edit]

EDITOR: PLEASE CORRECT SPELLING OF THIS PAGE: SHOULD BE Barbara Blakeley Marx, not Barbara Blakely Marx. THANKS!! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rms125a@hotmail.com (talkcontribs) 01:48, August 16, 2005 (UTC)

Age

[edit]

Indisputable proof is Barbara apparently graduated from North High School in Wichita, Kansas, in 1944. Am making correction to the wiki page for accuracy. Her senior picture is for that year, not 1945. A copy of the yearbook can be found on the Classmates webpage. Her picture is on page 13. She was involved in several extracurricular activities in high school. It's probably a good bet that she was indeed born in 1926 and not 1927. It is a fact she was a senior in high school in 1943-1944. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.56.31.97 (talk) 18:18, 29 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

And yes, the age IS in dispute. There is no mention in her autobiography of having graduated when she was a mere 17 rather than 18. She was most likely born in 1926, while it is a FACT she was a senior in high school in 1943-1944, and her picture is nowhere to be found as being a senior in 1944-1945. Please be accurate.

Since her birthdate is widely reported as 1930, it would be good to mention or cite a source for the 1927 date. (It would be good to have a date for the marriage to Robert Oliver, too, and then we could be more chronological....) - Nunh-huh 02:28, 16 August 2005 (UTC) [reply]

The newspapers said she was 72 when Frank died. That would make her 80 now.
According to the 1930 census she was 3 years and 9 months old in April 1930, which means she was born in 1926 (see refs in article). Rms125a@hotmail.com (talk) 20:13, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Date of birth no longer in dispute: March 10, 1927. Quis separabit? 05:39, 26 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Yes, it is in dispute. I have offered irrefutable proof of when she graduated from high school or at least when she was a senior in high school. She does NOT appear at all in the North High School yearbook of 1945 but does appear as a senior in 1944. Not likely she skipped a grade to graduate at age 17 rather than age 18.

Large gap in biography?

[edit]

There seems to be a very large gap in the biography - nothing from age 18 (circa 1945) to her marriage to Frank Sinatra in 1976. Two earlier marriages are mentioned in the infobox; the one to Zeppo Marx is also mentioned in the lead but not subsequently. Is there a reason for the omissions? Marriage

[edit]

IMDB says, that her first wedding was in 1947. That's more believable than the 1940 in Wikipedia, I don't think, she was married when she was 13. Can somebody verify the date? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.221.58.22 (talk) 07:47, 31 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
