BanaphoolBalai Chand Mukhopadhyay – Pen Name >> Real name! He is equally famous by his real name. So, why pen name unnecessarily specially when the pen name may be misleading here (Banaphool means forest/wild flower Tito Dutta 04:58, 7 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, that may be too. But, for most of the Bengali writers we are not using IPA in article title! --Tito Dutta 08:18, 15 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
So I see at Category:Bengali writers. OK, per MOS:FOREIGN and the (failed) Naming conventions (standard letters with diacritics) there doesn't seem to be consensus either way. I know nothing of his works, how he referred to himself, or how reliable sources referred to him, so don't hold any opinion on the specific move requested. -- Trevj (talk) 09:22, 15 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Your point was correct! But, there is not any consensus. For example, we have this biographical article Aryabhata (simple Roman letters), but for his work we have used IPA Āryabhaṭa numeration. One or the another should be changed there!
Banaphool was this person's pen name. He is/was equally (or more) famous with his real name (Balai Chand Mukhopadhyay). Google search may help here! And we are generally using real name for Bengali writers– see Rajshekhar Basu (not Parashuram); Samaresh Basu (not Kalkut) etc, in Bengali writers category (link above) there are not too many articles with author's pen name!--Tito Dutta 09:53, 15 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
If there remains no reasoned opposition to your move proposal, it may be closed as move shortly (or relisted). -- Trevj (talk) 11:20, 15 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.
