theres a story tht vali defeated ravana in a duel...and help him pinned down for many years...on his death bed he is said to have told ram of this and abt ram's foolishness in killing him as he could have brought back sita in a day...if anyone can add this anecdote about him in the article Sidmohata 04:57, 11 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support. Whatever else it is treated as, the Ramayana is first of all a classic Sanskrit epic, and the form used here should follow the Sanskrit rather than any Prakrit or derivative variant.
