The article cited doesn't mention the location of the war memorial. However, I contacted the article's author for this information. His e-mail address is linked at the top of the article. Ancestry

Obviously, Lopez served his country valiantly and he is seen as an U.S. hero; however, I'm curious as to Lopez's lineage, especially with regards to his probable Latino background. I found a book that stated his father was from Spain; I've added that info to the article. Couldn't find anything about his mother. — jwillbur 01:52, 23 June 2010 (UTC)
