Change the name of the article to Cotabato Airport
[edit]Correct the name of the airport, Awang Airport does not exist, Cotabato Airport is an airport situated only in Barangay Awang but its name is Actually Cotabato Airport because it serve the people of Cotabato, you can also observed that its airport code is CBO and its stand for Cotabato MarkoDalisay (talk) 13:22, 30 November 2017 (UTC)
- @MarkoDalisay: You moved the page to Help:Cotabato Airport, which can't be right as this page is not a help page. I've moved it back. To move it to Cotabato Airport you will need an administrator to help, so I suggest you post at Wikipedia:Requested moves. -- John of Reading (talk) 08:33, 3 December 2017 (UTC)
- Done I have now moved the page to the correct title as requested here. GeoffreyT2000 (talk) 17:36, 3 December 2017 (UTC)
Orphaned references in Cotabato Airport
[edit]I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Cotabato Airport's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Local name of Cotabato Airport
[edit]Rlamundao (talk) 19:43, 1 January 2022 (UTC) Since one of the de facto official regional languages of BARMM is Arabic, it is better that having Maguindanaon local name on that airport on this page should not included. Why? Cotabato City is the regional center of BARMM. [1]
And then, BARMM has different ethnicities. [2] Also, since it already mentioned on the article itself of Cotabato Airport that it will construct a new international airport, it would be unfair to different ethnicities in Bangsamoro if non-Maguindanaons read that article that has local name in Maguindanaon. To make the local name on this article short, better if the language use is English, Tagalog [Filipino], and Arabic, since they are recognized on the 1987 Philippine Constitution as one of official and/or auxiliary official languages. [3]
The effect on it is that, non-Maguindanaon readers who live in BARMM will not unfair to them if they read the article about Cotabato Airport since the language used in local name is not exclusive to a specific group. Hence, that article must avoid any ethnocentrism. So that, I have a plan to put the other languages airport name of that article with the languages of English, Filipino, and Arabic.
