ATS PERSONNEL 1941 +
[edit]I note that the Land Army Girls and the forestry Girls who were functioning during the WWII years are to be acknowledged and to receive medals. What happened to the young women conscripted into the Forces at that time? Are they to be acknowledge as well? My mother who is now 86 did not receive any campaign medals for feeding the troops as an army cook. --88.110.85.250 (talk) 21:37, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
- Well, she should have received the War Medal 1939–1945 and possibly the Defence Medal. Servicewomen were always eligible for the same campaign medals as servicemen. -- Necrothesp (talk) 09:05, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
Redirects needed
[edit]Finally found this page after searches on ATS & A.T.S. failed (Google to the rescue!). Needs redirects & add to dab page; I'll do 'em if I get there first, but feel free.... D Anthony Patriarche (talk) 12:03, 24 April 2019 (UTC)
- It's already listed on the ATS page. I've created a redirect from A.T.S.. -- Necrothesp (talk) 15:26, 24 April 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks! --D Anthony Patriarche (talk) 23:34, 25 April 2019 (UTC)
